Don’t give up on prayer
From the fall of man on ward man’s desire has been to re-establish his relationship with God. The desire of families was that they would be chosen to introduce the redeemer of the world with their offspring, especially when they heard the prophecy of Isaiah (Is7:14). And God answered the prayers for the redeemer, the four gospels record the birth of Jesus Christ the Messiah (Mt1:18). God has a reputation for answering prayers (ps68:18-19), David said that if he had remained in sin God would not have listened to his prayers.
Songs of Songs 5:1
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
The book of Song of Songs is a writing of Solomon reflecting the esteem for each in a dialog. It is a prophetic book.
In this chapter of Songs in the prophetic tense Jesus Christ makes his introduction to the world and unto his disciples lives; the garden, the pillars of the church. Jesus makes men his garden where he planted the seed of his word (Mt13:3). And in the garden there grows plants and trees no matter the sized of the seed; of we see the mustard seed. As this blind man who sees men as trees confirming the garden of the Lord(Mk8:23-24). Jesus’ birth was introduced with spices and myrrh (Mt2:11). Jesus calls his church his brothers and sisters(He2:11), but then he calls her his wife; the church is his bride (rev19:7). After the wedding of the Lord and the church, their voices will never be heard again on earth (rev18:23). The last phrase of the above verse is a reflection of the death and resurrection of Christ. At the garden of Gethsemane Jesus tells the father to pass the cup from him, but only if he wants too (Mt26:39). And, after he rises from the dead Jesus meets with his the disciples on the beach and once they come ashore (Jh21:12), he invites them to eat.
