Believing that He can is:

Having faith in God is one of the most important virtues to have. The idea of believing in a deity more powerful than we is a hopeful thing, first to ourselves, then to others. With so many problems of ginormous magnitude, without the hope of ever overcoming them, it is a difficult life.  The hope is that everyone has faith. After Jesus cursed the fig tree and caused it to wither, he told the disciples that they needed to have faith in God (Mk 11:22). Believing in God, the supreme deity, who can do anything and everything he wishes without difficulties, is what the Bible aims to teach us all to do. Job understood that whatever God set out to do, he did it (Job 42:2). David needed to have hope instilled in his inner core when his soul was in a state of deep depression (Ps 42:11). Once faith has found a place inside one’s heart, it needs to be guarded at all costs (1 Pt 3:15).

Matthew 18:6

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

The disciples became concerned with which one of them would be the greatest in the kingdom of God. Even though Jesus, in his last days of ministry, spoke more about his suffering than about the positions in his kingdom. Their attitudes became a stumbling block for the little ones of the kingdom. It is not the high and mighty that enter God’s kingdom, but the low and lowly. First, Jesus said that for anyone to enter the kingdom of God, they needed to have a childlike faith. Such faith is a wonder-working faith like the mustard seed faith (Mt 17:20). These grown men required a character adjustment; they needed to become like children, not the playful or foolish ones, but those who desire the milk of the word (1 Pt 2:2). Then, there needs to be a genuine conversion from the heart (Acts 3:19).

The little ones of Christ must not be offended at all costs. There is a hefty penalty for offending those who believe in him. Jesus said that if anyone offends them, it would be better if a stone were tied to their necks and they were cast into the deep.
