What is the glory of God? Glory is seen in three aspect of our lives or in God; in the physical, imaginative, and in the expressed. But, before we can see God’s glory we need to search for it. God is known for hiding  his glory in the most awkward place or situations known to man like in trials or tribulation; those unwanted moments that we all detest. When we search to see God’s glory in trails or hard time it is counted as honor towards us; where is God? In fact, surprising to say that many people when they are going to hard times the last thing in the mind is God. Many people are found in their death beds, but they want nothing to do with God. Yet, there those who go through very difficult times and are stead fast in waiting to see on God’s glory.

Proverb 25: It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Being able to see the glory of God is very precious. There is nothing like seeing it, it is like precious stones (Rev. 21:11). John the revelator describes the glory of God as bright and clear crystals. When we are able to see God’s good doing in hardship it enlightens us to hope and faith in Jesus.  Light always shines through darkness no matter how dark the circumstance there is light somewhere within pointing to Jesus (2Cor. 4:6). Expecting things to get better is expecting to see God’s glory in what ever hard situation one can be in. The glory of God points to God as the one who is, or will do.

Out of God’s glory in the midst of the fire his voice is heard. When we search out the glory of God; where is it in this terrible time, we uncover his glory and hear his voice (Deut. 5:24). Mary and Martha were in deep distress because of their brother’s terminal illness (Jhn. 11:4).  But, this suffering was so that Mary and Martha could see the glory of God out of the death of Lazarus.
