There are internal needs in man that only church can satisfy. There is no other institution in the world that can provide a satisfaction that a church provides like the church. Some have come up and had similar effects on people as the church’s but have not the endurance like the church’s. People come with needs to the church and their needs are met, because Jesus said that he that drinks out of this fountain shall not thirst again (Jhn 4:13-14). There should be no reason why people who come to an institution ordain by God should leave without having their needs met, unless; well someone pushes them away. In the churches these have risen up people; so called men of God, who when the party is over; or shall I say when the service is over, dismiss the people whether they had their needs me or not. But, that is not what God had planned that the church should do, in fact, God set his Holy Spirit in the churches to satisfy men’s internal needs.

Matthew 14:14-18

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.18 He said, Bring them hither to me.

Now, the people had been following Jesus all day long and they ended up in a desert where Jesus spoke to them the word of God; he healed many and cast out many demons. Healing’s and liberating is the main reasons why we come to church. It is the place where God has chosen to work not that he does not work anywhere else, but he is in the congregation of his people. After Jesus had ministered to the people the disciples thought that it was all over, so they figured on dismissing all the people but Jesus had other plans; “They need not depart”. There is no need small or big enough that God can not meet (ph. 4:19). Jesus said that if we knock the door and if we seek we shall find (Mt.7:7-9). There is no need for anyone to leave God’s presence without their needs being met. Job was a prosperous man. He had everything he ever needed until Satan made needs come up in his life and took the very things that satisfied his life (Job 1:18-19). The well being of our children and family provide for us life long satisfaction and also needs. And, when Job’s children were touched by the enemy is when Job broke and set himself into ashes in morning. God’s hand did not come of Job until he prayed for his friends.

God did not forget about Job at the end he blessed him seven times greater then what he started with. Similar story we find with Elijah when a famine sent by God was about to hit and he sent him to a brook to satisfy his material needs (1Kg.17:2-4). The famine and its end was in Elijah’s hand; sort of speaking, the people of Israel’s life status was pendent on Elijah’s obedience. Something happened when the disciples got involved with the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes five thousand people not including women and children were fed. God’s goal is not that anyone leave with their needs.
