Being saved:<\/h3>\n

Salvation is exclusive; According to the scriptures, there is only one entrance that promises an escape from the wrath to come, and that is Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which man can be saved (Acts 4:12). The privilege of salvation is given to those who, by faith, receive God’s Son (Jh 1:12). There are benefits that come from salvation that are promised to those who receive it, such as eternal life, forgiveness of sins, joy, and peace with God (1The 1:10). The entrance to salvation is constantly being threatened. The devil does not rest, trying to steal, kill, and destroy the way to salvation.  The scriptures tell us that the kingdom of God suffers violence (Mt 11:12). There is a battle raging against those who daily enter into God’s kingdom. It is not carnal; it is spiritual, the battle to sway the believer from entering into God’s saving grace (Eph 6:12). <\/p>\n

John 10:9-10<\/p>\n

9 <\/sup>I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 <\/sup>The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Satan’s attack to stop the believer from entering into God’s saving grace, Christ the door, is centered on the idea that once he enters and tastes the goodness of God, he will not leave (Ps 34:8). Entering through the door does not mean that one is locked into the sheepfold and is forced to stay in. Once you enter through the door, each time you will find green pastures that will nurture and build you up into salvation (1 Pet 2:2). Green pastures make us grow and become strong and become perfected into the man of God we were called to be (2 Tim 3:17).  The Psalmist said that God makes him lie down in green pastures (Ps. 23:2).  There is never going to be a time when you will not find green pastures once you have entered. One cannot be like John, who, when he and Peter were told that Jesus’ body was stolen, ran to the tomb<\/em>, but because of unbelief did not enter in. Some only stand at the door, but never fully go in. Coming in means being fully immersed to take part in the green pastures. The seal of the Holy Spirit gives us the right to go in and come out. <\/p>\n
