The writing of it<\/h2>\n

Writing a book requires a rigor discipline in order to be successful. It requires a complete devotion to the content of the book from the author to make it desirable to read. But what makes a good book to read? Someone said that a good book needs to have had many revisions done. In the story of salvation many revisions were made before it became a good book to read. There are many examples in the bible of God’s eternal salvation spelled out and one in particular is the that of the destruction of two famous cities: Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 18 God decides to visit Abraham and Sarah and bless them with the promise of a seed that would turn out to be a generation. But God also came down because of the cry of some in Sodom (Gen18:20-22), because the sin was at records heights. The result of sin is what causes the need of salvation. The scriptures says that where sin abounds grace over abounds (Ro5:20). <\/p>\n

Hebrews 5:8-10<\/p>\n

8 <\/sup>Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;<\/span><\/p>\n

9 <\/sup>And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;<\/span><\/p>\n

10 <\/sup>Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision of whether the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah needed salvation or destruction hung on the cry of the people. Salvation needed to be revised and rewritten in the hearts of these people, but it could not, because their hearts were far from God. A count down was initiated by Abraham to see if God would save at least 10 people, but none were found righteous (Ro3:10-12) only Lot and his immediate family. Salvation needed to become enticing, it needed to be engraved into the hearts of man and their lack of it. After many tries, because of man’s failures salvation needed to be revised and rewritten. Many rituals were tried in order to save man from the wrath to come, but they fell short of expectation. One has to come from a stern foundation and that of the priest Melchizedek who is known not to have a beginning nor an end. So, Christ had to come and through his obedience and suffering finalize salvation. It pleased God Christ’s rewriting salvation (Is53:11-12). The writing of salvation required a more rigor discipline then the writing of any old book. To acquire salvation one has to obey, Jesus said that if you love me, you will do what I say (Jh14:15). <\/p>\n

Pual told the jailor that only through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is when a person and his family will be saved (Acts16:31). That through the confession of the mouth one can obtain salvation (Ro10:9-10). The writing of the book of salvation is complete, so now anyone can obtain it and be saved. Its author finished the book!<\/p>\n
