God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but to save it (Jh3:17), was the purpose of his plan. God never intended to harm his most precious creation at any time, but man became reckless. His intention always became to rescue us from what life, our enemy and we ourselves, that is destructive bring to life. We all need once in a while some saving grace. The prophet Isaiah tells us that even until we are old God will rescue us (Is46:6). You may ask, save me from what? Well, it all started with creation when Adam and Eve gave in to Satan’s evil plan to still our free will (Ro5:12). Every evil; war, death, theft, etc.., was caused by the evil one from Adam to Christ. Satan became the ruler of this world and there was nothing anyone could do. That moment when Adam and Eve heeded to eating the forbidden fruit, was the day submission to the evil one’s (AKA god of this world) will came into existence (2Cor4:4). Satan had a grip on humanity that needed to be released, and because he is spirit someone from the spiritual world needed to take it away from him.  <\/p>\n

Matthew 27:51-53<\/p>\n

50 <\/sup>And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Christ rose from the dead, the saints that had died throughout history rose as well. What happened at the cross and in the resurrection released humanity from the grip of death and its master. He took the keys of death from Satan (Re1:18), so that no one needs to go to hell like previously before. The symbolism of the key is access and Adam and Eve had given that key to Satan, but Christ took it from him. From the death at the cross, the gospel made it to the inner most part of hell Christ went to hell to preach unto the dead (1P4:6) so that they would not have excuse. The resurrection of Christ deals with not only a ticket to paradise, as the thief at the cross experienced and everyone who accepts him, but freedom from Satan’s grip.  Luke tells us in the letter to the Hebrew that Christ’s death was to free all those who their lives in slavery by the fear of death (He2:14-15). Accepting the package that comes with resurrection is a matter of choice; free will, we can choose to be free from Satan’s grip or stay in bondage.  <\/p>\n
