Whose will wins?<\/h2>\n

There is a victory that every man desires and this is to reflect in everything that he does. In fact, who does not want to be a winner in every trial, race or challenge that he\/she confronts. Our competitiveness is seen now more then ever through games. Now, more then ever people are playing games because of the quest to feel the feeling of a champion. In fact, according to research In 2018<\/a>, more than 166 million adults played<\/b> video games<\/b> in the US. According to app usage statistics<\/b>, both males and females spend more than 60 minutes playing<\/b> a game<\/b> on their mobile phones on a daily basis. In 2019, around 2.4 billion people<\/b> will play<\/b> mobile games<\/b>. 52% of gamers play<\/b> on their personal computers. There has been a competitiveness that has been on play since the beginning of man, man has been trying to win God. The serpent’s goal when he deceived Eve was to create a challenge to God like no other. In Genesis the serpent told Eve that if she ate out of the tree of knowledge that she would be as a god (gen3:5). The game between God and man began when Adam and Eve ate from this tree of knowledge, so judgement has been on an uphill struggle since then. The Greek word for judgement is Kress-sis and it means an opinion or decision over anything.    <\/p>\n

Matthew 12:18-21<\/span><\/p>\n

18 <\/sup>Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.<\/span>19 <\/sup>He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.<\/span>20 <\/sup>A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.<\/span>21 <\/sup>And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision over who decides what in your life; whether it be you or God, is on a constant battle as if you were playing a game and you are defending your victory. God sent many champions to this game like David who slew a giant with a rock, and Samson who had all the enemies of God’s people trembling in fear. God sent Jeremiah to a people whose forehead was like iron to call them to change their ways. Throughout history God sent players to this game of judgment to give it the victory it deserves and it has been a fierce game. God told Job will the one who contends with God instruct him(Job40:1-3), leading us to understand that man is in constant contention with God. God was gearing up to a permanent victory and so he was preparing the way to his champion player, so he sends John; the voice who called out in the desert to make way for the Lord (Jh1:23). The ultimate game play to give victory to judgement; what God has to say, was Jesus and the resurrection from the grave. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies ever given about him making God true. As Paul the apostle said “Let God be true”(Ro3:4) that we maybe justified. The resurrection of Christ tells all man kind that God is true and that we should trust him, because he does what he says. Eve’s game is over “God wins”, Satan’s precept of who is God is over. So, now as believers we submit to God’s lordship over our decisions in life, because we know that he will lift us up (Jm4:10). And, through the resurrection of Christ we have the victory because we joined the winning team (1Cor15:55-57).<\/p>\n
