Judge an opinion concerning right and wrong; an easy and often activity we engage ourselves with, and at time without intent. Our opinion is probably one of the most sacred mind set we have. Each and everyone of us have an opinion about something, of which, to us is correct and it needs to be respected by others. But, sometimes our opinion about someone else can be wrong or not completely correct; a speck, and will affect our interaction with that person. Now, the way we form opinion is by the things we hear, interpret and see, and depending on how easily we sway by influences our opinion can be flawed. Depending on ones faith his opinion can be affected, if he is a person that doubts or becomes uncertain easily then he is double mind as written in James 1:7. So, depending on ones opinion we judge the right or wrong on someone or something.

Mathew 7:2-6

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

So, Jesus said if you do not want someone to pass judgment on you or your opinion do not judge. Now, there are people that say we should not judge and rightly we should not judge people outside the church, but those in the church. Paul tells us that it is not our business to judge those outside the church only those in side (1Cor. 5:12-13). Our own condition is crucial to how people react to our opinion. If in our lives we have plank size situations and by that we mean clearly visible to all, then our opinions will be trample on (v.6). Everyone has a speck or two in their eye, they have things that are not right when zoomed in with what the bible says, and they only way that these things can be corrected is through a self analysis. There are things that bible tells us that are totally wrong and we should watch out for them, because they can bring dishonor (Eccl. 10:1). But, when we do them they establish an opinion on other that causes a judgmental mindset to arise (Prov. 23:7), and they can hurt like sharp, arrows or swords (Prov. 25:18). Paul and the apostles left an amazing testimony on the church of which they felt good about (2Cor. 1:12), and it is the feeling that comes over one when their testimony is spotless. When your testimony is spotless only positive conversation is heard about you, Ecclesiastes 7:1 says that a good name is better then fine perfume.
